Brittany Cartwright hit back at critics who questioned the well-being of her and Jax Taylor’s 3-year-old son Cruz after their breakup. She urged people to refrain from dragging her “innocent son’s name” into their criticisms.
Brittany Cartwright is taking a stand against her critics. Since her separation from Jax Taylor in February, she’s been facing speculation about her son Cruz’s well-being. In response, she shared a heartfelt message shutting down those rumors and urging people to stop speculating about her son.
Brittany Cartwright made a powerful statement on her Instagram Story on May 28, addressing the speculation surrounding her personal life.
She emphasized the importance of keeping her son Cruz out of the drama, urging people not to assume they know him based on a brief glimpse from a TV show. It’s a reminder that behind the public personas are real lives, especially when it comes to the well-being of innocent children.
And the 35-year-old wasn’t budging on her stance, proclaiming that she refused to have
strangers acting like they know what’s going on in his life.
“I do everything I possibly can for him so how dare some of you!?” Brittany continued. “He is a perfect and innocent child.”
Noting that she doesn’t care what people say about her and Jax, she added, “Enough is enough!!!!!!”
It’s been four months since Brittany and her Bravo co-star, who is 44, revealed their separation following four years of marriage. Reflecting on their split, Brittany spoke candidly on their podcast “When Reality Hits” on February 29, acknowledging the challenges of marriage, especially amidst a difficult year.
She shared their decision to take a break, with Brittany opting to move into a different home to prioritize her mental well-being. It’s a reminder of the importance of self-care and addressing personal struggles, even in the midst of relationship difficulties.
Two months later, both Brittany and her Vanderpump Rules colleague attended the White House Correspondents Dinner, each with their own take on their relationship status.
“We’re still very much separated,” Brittany told E! News at the time. “Different hotel rooms, all the stuff. But we are very friendly with each other. We’re raising our child, so that’s most important, but there’s no back together right now.”
As for Jax, he had a slightly more optimistic take on where their future was headed.
“We’re talking. We’re eating dinner, we’re going out for drinks,” the 44-year-old told E!. “So, who knows? Do I want to be back together again? Of course I would, but, you know, we gotta see what’s healthy for us and our son.”
